I have had a few opportunities to drive over the new Golden Ears Bridge since it opened on June 17th, thanks to having a investment property on the "other side", and it saves me about 40 min. travel time and for that I'm so thankful!! The time savings almost makes the 3 years wait for construction worth it.
For those of you that don't live locally or haven't had a chance to take the drive here are some pictures that I have taken of the bridge and the new roadways. Exciting, haha I know but it really is a nice bridge.

Love it, I even said to Paul this morning -- that bridge looks good even from the air!
Now lets pray that it gets paid off quick and the toll can be removed!
wow! what a great viewing !
where is it ?
Shawna - Ya we can only hope, but the Coquihalla took 22 years and only after our Government collected $824Million did they decide that it was enough and remove the Tolls.
So given the toll is much less for the bridge and the construction cost is $1Billion, I don't think that we are going to see an end any time SOON! Booo!!

Hi Arein - This bridge crosses between Langley & Maple Ridge. I'm not sure if you are local or not, so this is in British Columbia, Canada
Thanks for stopping by my Blog!
