Wow it's almost been 6 months since my last post, and so much of my life has changed.
After my laptop decided that I had uploaded TOO MANY pictures, that I had filled it to the brim, I somehow became preoccupied with preparing for our baby girl, and of course work, work, work and didn't make it back here.
All of the above being said I WILL be back with a recap of the last 3 & 1/2 months of my pregnancy, and an introduction to the most wonderful baby girl and her (almost) 8 weeks of life!

Belly Pics - 5th Month
Ok here it is... I finally have a Baby Belly, and it came fast! One week prior to taking any pictures there really wasn't anything to see. I was still wearing my jeans and convincing people that there was something there. But at 21 weeks I got super excited seeing that there was finally something to show for my 5 + months of waiting for a belly. Who would have known that just 2 days after taking the first picture I would pop and say goodbye to doing up my jeans again.
So here they are pictures of my 5th Month.

Stay tuned cause next week I will post the pics of my 6 month Baby Belly!!

Dr. Appt / Changes / Scary News
I had another Dr. appointment this week with the OBGYN. Everything was pretty routine, our Baby Girl's heartbeat was 150, I've gained weight... eeeek (I have a hard time with that one), oh and they measured me this time, yes I now have a belly to measure!
They reviewed my Ultrasound (everything looks good) but have now changed my due date... it was May 28th, and now is June 5th. This makes me happy because there is a better chance that our Little Girl will stay put until after Brookes & Theo's Wedding (May 22nd). But at the same time if she stays put too long, then we will have to waiting until mid June before I get induced and we can finally meet her. I know I'm thinking well in advance, but once again this plays into me being... well not so patient.
In other news we have a sick puppy and have been given some scary news about Chloe. She has not been feeling well this week so after a trip to the Vet... she has been put on antihistamines & antibiotics to clear fluids from her lungs. The Vet has also run her blood work and it looks like there is problem with her Liver, and they are thinking that she might have Hepatitis (not the like Hepatitis people can get). She is looking better, but I'm still very worried about her so I'm thinking that I'm going to take her into Vancouver to the Pet Hospital and get their opinion. I don't want to mess around with this, and they are the best around.
Well, that about wraps up my week, but I have been making alot of promises to people who haven't seen me in a bit (including my Mom & Dad, who are enjoying the Sun in Arizona) about pics of my Baby Belly so I better download the pics and post them quickly cause it's getting close to my bedtime. Who would have thought I would be voluntarily going to bed at 9 on a Weekend, haha.

Gender Ultrasound Pics
These are the pictures that we got from UC Baby telling us we were having a Girl.
This first picture I honestly can't figure out. The real picture is a bit more clear than this scanned copy, but maybe you guys might have a bit more of an imagination than me.
Do you have any idea what were looking at???

It did take me a bit to figure out that I had to turn this photo upside down (so I posted it that way), but in this picture you can see the bottom of her face (nose & mouth) in the top left corner of the picture. Then her body (you can see the ribs), right arm hoding her leg, and you can see her left hand holding her.... bum!

This picture being 4D really makes me so anxious for our next appointment, the pictures are going to be amazing!!!

Were having a ...
I can't believe it, but we just found out that we are having a PRINCESS!!!! No not in the royalty sense as I'm sure you are aware, but she will be our Princess just the same. I'm so excited!!!!
I had myself convinced that we were having a Boy, 60% of you guys said Boy in the Poll, and Rich wanted a boy (but wouldn't say it), so when we opened the envelope to looked at the pictures from UC Baby, it took a while to sink in when we read GIRL.
We have made our phone calls, and I have updated my Facebook, so now the word is out. I'm off to bed to have sweet dreams about our little girl.
(Oh and this weekend I will scan and post the pictures from UC Baby.)

Gender?? Who's in there?
Well I recieved the phone call from the OBGYN today
and the results...
of course the baby looks PERFECT,
but the babies legs were crosses
and the Gender could not be determined.
For months now I've been the one wanting to know NOW, and Richard has been telling me to be patient, but now he has joined me, and neither of us can wait for our scheduled 4D Ultrasound on Feb 13th.
So the wonderful people at
said they would fit me in on Friday to see if they can see the Gender. So now we have to wait... but only 2 more sleeps (haha I always think it's funny when people count down the sleeps).I will be back yet again with some results. but in the meantime take my Poll on the Right of the Page. Who do you think is in there...
1st Ultrasound Pics
Well I didn't get the "Nice Lady" and instead got the "Quite Lady" , I think she said a total of 30 words to me over 45 minutes so needless to say she didn't tell us if were expecting a Girl or Boy. But she did say the heartbeat was 142, and took these pictures of our precious little one...

20 Weeks... Half Way!!
Wow time is flying by and I'm already half way there!! Along with being 20 weeks pregnant comes some exciting times. The baby has been kicking, or more like doing acrobatics since about 16 weeks, and I'm just starting to show a bit of a bump. Well I don't know how much that is true, cause I'm still wearing my regular jeans, but I can't wait to be showing off a bump in all my new Maternity clothes.
Tomorrow is my first Ultrasound, and I can't wait to see our baby, hear the heart beat, and find out the Gender. But then I found out that most likely the Ultrasound Technician won't tell us at the appointment and I will have to wait again!! So hopefully they will send the report to my OBGYN really quickly cause I don't know how much longer I can pretend to be patient, Hahaha!
I will be back really soon with some exciting PINK OR BLUE news!!!! Oh and maybe a couple pictures, of course of the baby but maybe of me too.

First Baby Purchase
Can you believe that up until today we had not purchased one thing for the baby!! But what do you really buy when you don't want to gender neutral clothes... really this waiting thing is killing me. I just want to start SHOPPING!!
So today we made our first purchase for baby, well actually it was 3 big purchases, Crib, Dresser & Armour, and I love it!!
We also purchased a Highchair, so that brings our tally to... 4 down and I'm sure a million more purchases to go... (oh I can't wait!!)

BIG NEWS... about something really small!!
After what feels like forever of keeping our secret this past weekend we told everyone that...
We have really BIG NEWS... about something really small.
Oh my was it ever fun to see every ones expressions when we told them that we are EXPECTING!! Then when they found out that I was already 3 months they couldn't believe that we kept our secret FOR SO LONG! It was not overly difficult earlier on to keep the secret, but as it came closer reveal day we became more anxious and couldn't wait for the day when everyone knew.
We had alot fun telling our families and friends...
My parents were the first to know. We told them about 3 weeks ago over dinner at our house. (We planned on keeping the secret from everyone but as my Dad was leaving for a 5 week job on the Island, we had to tell them first. No way am I going to tell my Dad that he is going to be a Grandpa over the phone) For the past while my Mom has been wanting to buy me something and she keeps asking me what it was that I wanted, so I would say "I'm thinking about it" each time.. So in the middle of dinner I said "Oh Mom, I've thought about what you can buy... maybe you can buy something for the Nursery!!" She was in disbelief, and was over the moon, and for the rest of the evening kept saying "this is surreal". We told them how we planned to keep it a secret until 3 months, so they couldn't tell a soul. My Dad was not so sure my Mom would be able to do it, but she did and boy was she proud that she did.
This past weekend was it... the weekend that we were going to tell EVERYONE, so I had planned a Girls Night at my house with my Girlfriends that I've known for 25+ years (Kathy, Jenica, Laura and Brooke). I had an outfit made for Georgia with the words "I'm the Big Cousin" embroidered on it. At first Brooke didn't get it, but Kathy sure did her face was priceless. Then Brooke took a second look, and everyone was soooo HAPPY with tears of joy!! It was surly a night to remember.
The rest of the weekend was filled with us sharing our news with everyone else, and Monday I told my office. Brooke insisted that I my co-workers in a fun way, so she said that she would send a fax with a message on it spilling the beans. But to my surprise she dropped off this gorgeous bouquet at my office. By the time the girls at the front brought them back to me, there was a big commotion and everyone was standing in my office.
