Dr. Appt / Changes / Scary News

I had another Dr. appointment this week with the OBGYN. Everything was pretty routine, our Baby Girl's heartbeat was 150, I've gained weight... eeeek (I have a hard time with that one), oh and they measured me this time, yes I now have a belly to measure!

They reviewed my Ultrasound (everything looks good) but have now changed my due date... it was May 28th, and now is June 5th. This makes me happy because there is a better chance that our Little Girl will stay put until after Brookes & Theo's Wedding (May 22nd). But at the same time if she stays put too long, then we will have to waiting until mid June before I get induced and we can finally meet her. I know I'm thinking well in advance, but once again this plays into me being... well not so patient.

In other news we have a sick puppy and have been given some scary news about Chloe. She has not been feeling well this week so after a trip to the Vet... she has been put on antihistamines & antibiotics to clear fluids from her lungs. The Vet has also run her blood work and it looks like there is problem with her Liver, and they are thinking that she might have Hepatitis (not the like Hepatitis people can get). She is looking better, but I'm still very worried about her so I'm thinking that I'm going to take her into Vancouver to the Pet Hospital and get their opinion. I don't want to mess around with this, and they are the best around.

Well, that about wraps up my week, but I have been making alot of promises to people who haven't seen me in a bit (including my Mom & Dad, who are enjoying the Sun in Arizona) about pics of my Baby Belly so I better download the pics and post them quickly cause it's getting close to my bedtime. Who would have thought I would be voluntarily going to bed at 9 on a Weekend, haha.

Here they are.... Puppies!!!!

They are here now and boy-o-boy are they CUTE, and super HARD WORK!!!! The first week they needed to eat every 2 hours, WOW was that tiring!!!! I felt like a walking zombie!! Now they eat every 3 - 4 hours, so it's a NICE change, but now you know why I haven't posted pictures any sooner.

Here they are:

3 GIRLS

4 BOYS

All of the puppies have their eyes open now, and a few of them try really hard to walk, and wobble all over the place. Chloe is doing really great being a Mom! But considering she normally sleeps a good 16 hours out of the day she is pooped as well!!

Well hate to run but it's feeding time... again!

Chloe's Ultrasound Says......

Oh my we are soooo excited because today we found out the Chloe is going to have PUPPIES!!! I was so anxious going into the appointment for the Ultrasound, as last time it was such a disappointment when there wasn't any puppies. So when the Dr. said there was puppies, I was is disbelief.

Yes I'm not kidding here, I know they are just puppies! But she is our only baby so until we have some babies of our own, she is our Child. Ok who am I kidding, she will always be our first born. Hahaha

Well in all the commotion I didn't ask for a print out of the screen, nor did I take any pictures of it, but this is pretty much what I saw.

and by October 17th the above will turn into
a bunch of these cute little suckers!

I CAN'T WAIT!!

Our Fur-Baby is 4!

Just wanted to let everyone know that today Chloe has turned 4 years old!!! These pictures are a collaboration of a bunch of pictures from the time she was a tiny, wrinkly, roley puppy, SOOO CUTE!!

I posted last February about our unsuccessful 1st round of breeding Chloe and I hope that next week after we take her to the Vet for an Ultrasound, that I can say that there are puppies due Mid-October!!!

I'm trying not to get overly excited this time, as it was such a disappointment last time, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I will keep everyone posted.

Hello from Georgia

We have spent the day and are staying the night at Georgia's House. We all enjoy each other company very much, us girls spent our day shopping for none other than Georgia, and working on stuff for the Baptism. The guys spent their time at the gym and doing some shopping of their own. And the dogs, Chloe and Ellie are non stop playing.

About a month ago Georgia started waving so today while at her house I tried to catch it on film, which turned out to be quite difficult.

Hello from Georgia!!

30 Days of Blogging... Day 10... Chloe & her Mama

Today is Day 10 of my 30 Days of Blogging, and I'm only 1/3 of the way though and already running out of brilliant things to blog about. So I went through Picasa to see if any ideas would come to mind and thought you might want to see some more of our little Chloe-bears!

To make this a bit more fun I tracked down only the pic's of Chloe & her Mama...

Considering that Chloe is almost 4 years old, and that these are almost all of the pictures of the 2 of us, it looks like I should be turning the camera more on myself.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing me and my baby over the years.

Weekend Recap

I enjoyed a very busy weekend and am now tired at 8pm on a Sunday, and am thinking of going to sleep early... but not before updating my Blog.

Here is my Weekend Recap...

Friday after I was done at the office Laura and I went to see Jenica's new Condo, LOVE IT!! I know Jenica wouldn't appreciate pictures of the madness of move in day on my Blog, so I will show you a sneak peak of a unit that we purchased for an investment. Her unit is the same layout but in reverse, and just in a different colours scheme.

While still in Surrey I got a phone call from Richard to tell me that he was at our house to for a surprise weekend visit. I was sooo excited to get home to see him, but when I got home that night it was to a very overly excited Chloe (our English Bulldog) that was limping around. I just panic when anything is hurting her, so needless to say I was a little unnerved that night.

Saturday started out with a early morning trip to the Vet. Sure enough the excitement of Daddy coming home and then jumping on and off... on and off... on and off the bed the night before had pulled a muscle in her knee. Solution... medication and a strict enforcement of No Exercise for 1 week. So yes that includes no jumping up to sleep on the bed or couches, no stairs, and no playing tug or catch (an yes I'm getting stronger by the day having to tote all 50 lbs. of her up an down the stairs). Chloe is a pretty good listener, so thus far we are doing pretty good, and she is on the mend.

Brooke & Georgia came out our way for our Cousin Lana's Baby Shower Saturday Afternoon. If you recall she was my 2nd post on my blog, take a look. She is 3 weeks from her Due Date and I can't wait to meet the little guy!! (Sorry no pic right now, will have to come back with those)

That night we had a Laura's early Birthday Celebration over dinner and drinks, oh... and the Canucks game. Here is Laura enjoying some of her new Birthday presents, and Georgia.

Hope you have a wonderful Birthday on Thursday Laura!!!
Love ya, xoxo

Sunday, Mother's Day!
I enjoyed the day with my Mom and Grandma, doing my Mom's planters. Unfortunately Brooke was too sick with the flu to make it out today and missed her very first Mother's Day. I will be sure to catch a 4 Generation picture of everyone the next time we are all together. Oh and in case you didn't know Brooke was named Mother of the Year 2009 This was passes on to us from a friend hehehe. (Sorry Brooke, Smith was the first fake "lastname" I could think of) Check it out and make sure you pass this on to all the special Mothers in your life, here is the link.

Well that about wraps up my weekend, and tomorrow it's back to the grind of another work week. Luckily it's a short one for us, May Long weekend marks the start of Camping Season, so we are leaving on Thursday. And even better were on holidays next week.

Hope everyone enjoyed your Mother's Day, and have a wonderful week! I will be back with some pictures from Camping, and from my weekend away visiting Rich (Sorry I know, really late in posting those).

Day 1, 2, 3… 11, 12, 13

Today is day 13 since my Husband (Richard) left, not me, no no no for work purposes, and Chloe and I sure are lonely. Other than the rare Girl/Guys Weekend away this is the longest time that we have been apart in the 9 years we have been together. It’s going to be a long few months.

He has planned to come home for the Easter Long Weekend, but when Jenica told me that her and her fiancĂ© Jeff are going to visit friends & new Baby this weekend in the same City that Rich is in, I invited myself along for the ride. Lucky for us it looks like the Snow will hold off and we shouldn’t have a problem with the Coquihalla. So it looks like the Jeff & Jenica weekend away is now the Jenica & Nadine Mini Road Trip with Jeff as our tour guide. And she is just as excited as I am about this. hehehe

I’m super excited to see Rich, but sad to be leaving Chloe behind. (Really all Hotels should be Pet Friendly, that is ridiculous!) This will be her first time without one of us, but she will be in good hands with my Mom & Dad. Believe me I know that she is a Dog, but because we have no kids of the human variety she is our only Baby!! So I’ve have explained to my Mom all of Chloe’s whines & whimpers and her eating & sleeping habits and have now realized that I don’t think they know what they have signed up for… she is a handful. Hahaha, this should be interesting.

So I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and hopefully I will have some pictures when I return. (Depending on the scenery!)

Chloe

Well I took Chloe to the Vet yesterday hopeful that I would see Puppies on the ultrasound, but there weren't any to be seen. I kinda had a haunting feeling that "it" didn't take, but was really wishing that it would have.

Of course not knowing the she was pregnant or not I was analyzing her every action and thinking humm. I even convinced myself that she looked pregnant. Haha, oh well maybe next time.

Maybe next time it will be just in time for some Christmas Puppies!!

Chloe....and maybe..... Puppies!!!

If everything works out as planned hopefully we will have some puppies in just under 9 weeks. I know I'm "counting my chicks before they hatch" as we won't know if there are any puppies yet, but I can't help but get my hopes up.

We have been debating Breeding Chloe for quite a while and (after researching, speaking to Breeders with loads of experience, and planning) have decided that now is the best time. It is a learning process for both Rich and I, but we have committed to it now, and I am excited (and nervous, but mostly excited)!! We won't know for sure if she is pregnant for another 3 weeks, but hopefully come Mid-April we should have English Bulldog Puppies... they really are the cutest puppies. I know all puppies are cute but take a look for yourself..... Sooooo Cute!!

(Chloe & her Siblings; She is the cute white one on the right)
This is Chloe last summer; sleeping in the sun!
This is the little man Mo-Joe

From what I have learned about Breeding so far it's all about the bloodlines. Other than making some really cute puppies they will also have 32 Champions in their bloodline, so will be of very good quality.

I will keep you posted on any news and what is to come.
