Just a quick post before I run out of the house.
Georgia she is now 7 weeks old and growing like a weed. She hasn't been weighed lately but I would guess she is about 10 lbs now. My Grandma just loves her to bits, and calls her "Little Dolly Dimples", it's really cute.
Here is a picture of us a couple weeks ago.
I have realized the I have not posted any pictures of her Nursery, so when I return I will show you every baby girls dream nursery.

State of Emergency
You ask and you shall receive... I told everyone to stop wishing for rain to wash away our snow... but sure enough here comes the rain... more rain, more rain, and more rain!!! Of course I was joking at the time telling everyone to stop wishing for snow, only because I love the snow, but have never guessed that it would turn out like this.
So far this winter has made an everlasting impact for some. First we had 2 years of our regular snow fall within 2 weeks, and to follow now rising temperatures, melting snow, and 125mm of rain. The result flooding and lots of it. Luckily the rain has stoped now but now without damage.
The City I live in has been placed under a State of Emergency. This morning I took some pictures (while driving, forgive the quality) on the way into my office to show you what I saw (and took a couple more from tonight’s News).

If your not affected by the rain, hopefully you are not one who's home sustained damage from the snow. My office has have seen a record number of claims in the last 3 days. The culprit accumulation of snow with the weight of rain, resulting in......
I drove quickly around the neighbourhood of my office to survey the damage I saw 40+ homes with damage.
We are one of the lucky ones, who were not adversely affected by the weather, but if you are not so lucky you are in my prayers.

December Birthdays
Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays!!! In our family we have ton of Birthdays in December, and it keeps our schedules very busy.
My Birthday is on the 27th, and last but not least, the most recent addition, Georgia on the 9th of December.
This year my long long time girl friends (and our Guys) enjoyed dinner, and then a game of Laser Tag. You heard me Laser Tag, we have never done that before, it was good fun. If you haven't tried you should, it's a good laugh and a workout at the same time! In the past we have also gone Go Karting, twice, and Night Bowling with glow in the dark pins and balls.

I don't make a big deal out of my birthday, in fact I think that this was my last year of counting. Ha Ha Ha (I only wish!). But normally my Birthday festivities include dinner with family, and a night out with my good friends. A night out for us has changed alot over the years, I couldn't even tell you the last time that I was in a "Club", or had more than 2 drinks in a evening (including this New Years, I had Virgin Punch, any alcohol is few and far between for me), but those were things that we all enjoyed at one time when we were younger.

Here is a picture from my birthday of me and My Girls (Laura, Me, Jenica, Kathy, Brooke and of course Georgia)
Spending time with my Girl Friends is enough of a gift but they also got me wonderful presents... Perfume, Gift Cards, Card making supplies, and Clothes. To top off the evening my wonderful Husband also got me this Diamond Gucci Watch!!
Tomorrow is my Mom's Birthday, so we will be having Dinner this weekend to celebrate both of our Birthdays, and also as a send off to my parents before they leave on Sunday to spend a bit of Winter in Arizona, lucky bums!

Christmas in Our House
I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas because I enjoyed mine!! Of course Christmas (and the whole month of December) is a very busy time for our family. But this year we did things a bit different, but in a good way. Christmas morning we enjoyed together (just Rich & I, oh and of course our puppy Chloe) opening presents at our house. Oh my was I spoiled, new Angel perfume, Coach Wallet & Umbrella, and a new Camera. Wowsers!! Chloe was spoiled too, with a new Coach leash from Dayton & Kenna (our friends kids).

In the afternoon we went to visit Richards Family and bring presents to our Nephews. And because we had a WHITE CHRISTMAS for the first time in as long as I can remember, so we got to watch Jaden play in the snow.

The big change this year was not going to my parents Lake House in the morning and spending the day there. Instead we enjoyed Christmas Dinner and THEN opened presents. It was very different but it was quite enjoyable, and wouldn't mind this schedule every year!
